PSW Offshore Wind & Yard - supplier of lifecycle services

PSW Offshore Wind & Yard aim to become the preferred supplier of lifecycle services and maintenance towards larger maritime assets and offshore wind.

The yard is located by the Fensfjord and has a unique location for handling offshore wind operations such as assembling, craning, building and storing. Due to extreme docking capabilities, depth in fjord and lifting capabilities the location will cater for both on- and offshore construction and assembly.

The proximity to the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), where the offshore wind development is taking place in large format, is a great advantage as this will heavily reduce time needed to secure asset alongside until work can be initiated.

PSW Group`s sustainable solutions will help our customers to reduce their environmental footprint by offering shore power solutions during yard stay and lay-up.

The planned Skyhook dockside crane will be a huge contributor to be the preferred logistic- and commissioning harbor for the increasing offshore wind market. The crane will be an important factor in terms of efficient installation of the wind turbines, and the curved track will improve the plant coverage. 

PSW Group and Wergeland Group have signed a Letter of Intent with Huisman for the delivery of a Skyhook quayside crane.

PSW Power & Automation has installed the solar power plant on the roof of parent company PSW Group's new facilities in Mongstad. With its 1200 solar panels over 2500 square meters, the plant is the tenth largest in Norway, and the building's own power generation is approximately 350,000 kWh per year.
